Can you believe it’s FIVE YEARS since the Bathurst Rail Museum opened? It’s certainly been through a lot in that time!
By the numbers:
– 42 volunteers working with us to install, develop and maintain the model railway, and share stories with our visitors
– 1706 members have taken advantage of unlimited general entry
– 7 awards
– 2 dedicated Museum Coordinators
– Over 175,000 visitors have come through the doors
– 29 days open before being closed for the first lockdown
– 143 days of forced closure due to the Covid19 pandemic during 2020 and 2021
– Countless children have enjoyed playing with the BRIO set
Happy Birthday Bathurst Rail Museum!
