Words of saftey from Cowra Tourism and local farmers
We love Canola season as much as our visitors do and we cannot wait to welcome you all to see them! For your safety, please ensure you abide by the following rules and do NOT enter the canola fields.
Be aware that Canola fields are on private property and visitors are not permitted to enter paddocks. Entering private property without permission is considered trespassing and unsafe. You may receive an on-the-spot fine as well as additional prosecution and potentially jail time if you trespass on private property.
To view our canola safely, please only view the fields from behind the fences and ensure that you pull off to the side of the road where it is safe to do so. Do not drive through open gates or down private driveways.
We are committed to emphasising the importance of canola safety and biosecurity to protect our farmers and their livelihoods.
