Teachers are warmly invited to discover upcoming Museum exhibitions and education programs, and discuss approaches to the new NSW curriculum.
Join us on Wednesday 27 August at 6pm for our ‘Educator Evening’ event, just for teachers and educators.
At this free event, we’ll:
- walk you through our exhibition program and education opportunities for the rest of 2025 and through 2026,
- give you a curator’s preview of our permanent local history exhibition, due to open in late 2026,
- discuss how we’re reshaping our school visit programs and education resources to address the new NSW curriculum, and
- share details of an Education Reference Panel we’re establishing to provide input and feedback as we develop our programs through 2026.
All educators are welcome – primary and secondary teachers, as well as early learning, tertiary and home educators. Come and enjoy some free refreshments and stay for some museum and education conversation!
