Hill End Art Gallery is hosting ‘Response’, an exhibition of the work of Heather Dunn as she has responded to her first artist residency at Hill End some seven years ago followed by four other artist residencies from Tasmania to Western Australia.
Arts OutWest Nic Mason recently visited Heather in her studio in O’Connell. Nic said “it will be a joy to open this exhibition for Heather. I can’t wait to see Heather’s diverse works from weaving on rusted finds to stitching, mending and cyanotypes transform from her studio to be showcased at Hill End Gallery with the curatorial touch of Hill End artist Genevieve Carroll.’
Alongside Heather’s work will be the Sculptures of Hill End resident Hui Selwood, always a must see.
