Huge photographic posters curated throughout the streets of Parkes Shire

Huge photographic posters have hit the streets of Parkes Shire. They are part of the ‘Who is Parkes?’ Photographic Trail.  It is presented by Parkes Community Arts and consists of 11 large street posters of photographs depicting imagery of locals in Parkes Shire. Every village in Parkes Shire has its own local art poster on their streets. The exhibition sites include Parkes, Bogan Gate, Peak Hill, Trundle and Tullamore. The posters were erected in February 2024 and will remain up for a number of months.

Whilst in Parkes and Peak Hill last week I spied four photographic street posters on an Arts OutWest roadtrip with Kylie and Steven.  They have been terrifically curated into their streetscapes and it was wonderful to see a photograph by  Judi Unger, a Media Associate with Arts OutWest included in this exhibition.
