Little Magpie Gallery in Cowra launches into 2024!

Newly launched little magpie gallery in Kendal Street, Cowra is excited to announce that they are continuing with their little magpie gallery for 2024!

A venture to invigorate the main street of Cowra, bring visiting artists, workshop opportunities and showcase invited Central West artists. Two wonderful exhibitions at the end of 2023 Tonal Conversations and From this Place brought together a variety of artists with feature artists being local ceramicists Graham Watt and Greg Daly.  Both these artists launched each exhibition and gave an artist talk on opening night. On the strength of these exhibitions and encouraging community response little magpie gallery has renewed their lease.

The gallery currently has the Summer Salon on exhibition. The next Autumn group exhibition TRANSITIONS which will be up by the Easter Weekend and will run for the month of April. Keep an eye on the socials for the event opening on Wed 10 April.  Some wonderfully curated exhibitions are planned throughout this year.

The little magpie gallery workshop 2024 season has been launched.  Starting with the already sold-out workshop by Cowra artist Shani Nottingham on Tuesday 12 March, followed by “Gorgeous Gouache” with Cowra plein air artist David Henley on Tuesday 19 March and a Gelli Plate print making workshop run by Jillian Reidy Saturday planned for April 6.
