Avenue of Scar Trees

There is ┬ánow a corridor of scarred Australian native trees, on Wallerawang’s Barton Avenue.

The project was organised by Wiradjuri Cultural Care director Adrian Williams with the help of Lithogw Council’s director of infrastructure services

“These type of trees are normally done right up the bush because they are used for borders, boundaries, burials, sacred places or special places,” Mr Williams said.
