Bathurst Regional Art Gallery (BRAG) is excited to announce our first exhibitions of 2026, welcoming a vibrant and ambitious new year of artistic programming in Central West NSW, opening Saturday 7 February.
A new partnership with Western Sydney’s We Are Studios–a 100% Disability-led, artist-run initiative–will see major exhibition Acts of Inheritance presented in BRAG’s Main Gallery and extending into the Bathurst CBD across BRAG’s Digital Platforms. The exhibition showcases work by seventeen Disabled artists who explore identity as something lived, layered and continually remade. In the Foyer Gallery, first greeting visitors to the shared Gallery and Library Building, Blue Mountains-based Liz Bryan presents Pattern Recognition: a body of work exploring the microcosmic world and underlying geometry inherent in biological structures.
