Orange Rainbow Festival will return in 2026 with a spectacular celebration of diversity, inclusion and acceptance from March 4-8.
In its third year, the festival will build on its success to once again transform Orange into a hub of colour and community spirit, with a program of events and activities designed to bring people together and showcase the city’s commitment to equality and acceptance.
Orange City Council Services Policy Committee Chair Cr Marea Ruddy said the event was an opportunity for the community to unite and celebrate what makes Orange such a welcoming and inclusive city.

“The Orange Rainbow Festival is about creating a space where everyone feels seen, valued and celebrated. We’re excited to bring it back for a third year and invite the whole community to join us in making 2026 bigger and brighter than ever,” Cr Ruddy said.
Orange City Council will host the festival’s signature event, the Rainbow Walk and Community Gathering, from 3pm on Saturday 7 March.
This powerful expression of unity, diversity and pride will culminate in Roberston Park for an afternoon of live entertainment, along with food and market stalls, and service providers.

This year, the 18+ Rainbow Festival Pride Party will be presented by Haus of Drag Bingo, offering a spectacular night of live music, delicious food, drag shows and DJs in McNamara Street.
