A new exhibition by renowned Borenore ceramic artist Ros Auld is on display at Orange Regional Gallery.

SCULPTURE: Ros Auld in her studio at Borenore.
INSIGHT: Figure and Landscape continues the artist’s explorations of the Australian landscape, this time with a renewed focus on the figure within. By integrating clay with found metal artifacts and rendering the figure using ceramic glazes that embody the textures of the natural world, the artist examines the co-evolution of the landscape and its inhabitants, creating a conversation between material, experience and place.
Orange City Council’s Recreation and Culture Committee Chair, Cr Tammy Greenhalgh is excited to see new sculptural works by one of the district’s most accomplished artists, whose career spans more than 45 years.
“Ros Auld is known across Australia for her richly textured vessels and ceramic sculptures, produced right here in the region at her studio in Borenore,” Cr Greenhalgh said.
“I am thrilled Orange Regional Gallery is working with the artist to bring this exhibition to the people of Orange and encourage everyone to head along to see these beautiful works that embody both the strength and fragility of the Australian landscape.”
INSIGHT: Figure and Landscape was opened by curator, arts writer and art historian Peter Haynes.
The exhibition will be displayed until 24 August, 2025.
