Portland Art Show turns 50 and is on at The Crystal Theatre Wolgan Street in Portland this weekend opening night Friday 6 March 2026 6:30 to 9:30pm with an entry fee of $20 per person and concession $15 per person. The general exhibition is on Saturday 7 March 10am to 5pm and Sunday 8 March 10 am to 4pm with entry fee $10 per person each day.
With artists delivering their artwork today, the Portland Art Purchase Society wanted to celebrate the artists, organising for them a generous morning tea with Rich and Kellie Evans at the helm and an artist talk by Portland’s very own lead artist Harrie Fasher. With hand on heart she talked of being brave in making work, of vulnerability in showing work and of rich community building.
The annual Portland Art Exhibition is an amazing fundraiser for the Portland community, a loved show by return artists and an event not to miss for those up for some art for their walls.
