Rosby Wines and Gallery have announced the return of their highly anticipated Rosby Art Workshop Program for 2026, continuing a much-loved tradition that has brought leading Australian artists and passionate creatives to Mudgee for more than a decade.
Held at Rosby’s iconic Mud Hut and set against the vineyards and rolling hills of Eurunderee, the annual workshop series has become a cultural drawcard for both regional locals and visitors seeking a meaningful, immersive creative experience. Each year, workshops consistently sell out, attracting returning guests who value the combination of expert tuition, beautiful surroundings and warm Rosby hospitality.
Rosby Art Workshop Director Kay Norton-Knight says the 2026 program reflects Rosby’s ongoing commitment to artist-led, process-driven learning experiences.
“Our workshops are designed to nurture creativity at every level,” Norton-Knight says. “From beginners picking up a brush for the first time to experienced artists seeking renewal, the program offers thoughtful, immersive weekends guided by highly accomplished and generous tutors.”
The 2026 program spans portraiture, printmaking, sculpture, abstraction, and natural pigment painting — offering something for every creative interest and skill level. Each workshop includes country-style morning tea and lunch, with Rosby Wines served alongside, reinforcing the holistic and convivial atmosphere that has become synonymous with the Rosby experience.
For those wishing to extend their stay, Rosby also offers accommodation in its charming hilltop guesthouse and studio, allowing participants to create by day and retreat by night.
In addition to the workshop program, Rosby Gallery will continue to host a dynamic calendar of exhibitions throughout 2026, culminating in the region’s flagship outdoor sculpture exhibition, Sculptures in the Garden, held annually each October.
The Rosby Art Workshops remain a cornerstone of Mudgee’s cultural calendar — combining art, landscape, food and wine into a truly distinctive regional arts experience.
